Le Page de Vignelaure Red 2020 Organic
Cabernet Sauvignon MerlotBlend of Cabernet Sauvignon (30%) and Merlot (70%), it is the most recent cuvée for sale. Partial aging in oak barrels for 10 to 12 months is bringing subtle oaky flavors, a mature and interesting fruit on the nose and on the palate. Concentrated wine with a great complexity, blackcurrant and garrigue flavors.
Ageing potential: between 7 and 10 years.
Food pairing: beef chop, beef tartare, bolognese sauce with pastas.
Hand harvest.
Vineyard area: 55 hectares among which 3 hectares selected for the blend of Page of Vignelaure Red.
Soil type: Limestone and clay mixed with gravel.
Yield: global yield: 32Hl/Ha. Average yield for the parcels selected for the production of le Page Red: 26 Hl/Ha.
Vinification: selection of the harvested grapes. All grapes are destemed. Traditional vinification technics, natural yeasts. Fermentation under controlled temperature for 7 days and maceration for the 28 following days. Partialy aging in oak barrels.
Le Page de Vignelaure Rosé NM Organic
Cabernet Sauvignon MerlotBlend of Cabernet Sauvignon (40%) and Merlot (60%). Bright salmon color with beautiful silver hints. Fine and elegant nose with floral and red fruits notes. Fresh in the mouth and balanced, with intense notes of ripe red fruit : raspeberry, blackcurrent and cherry. Long finish with peach flavors.
Ageing potential: between 2 and 5 years.
Food pairing: anchoïade, tapenade, suishis, italian melon, strawberry salad.
Juice extract thanks to direct press.
Vineyard area: 55 hectares among which 3 hectares selected for the blend of Page of Vignelaure Rosé.
Soil type: Limestone and clay mixed with gravel.
Yield: Average yield for the parcels selected for the production of Page Rosé: 45 Hl/Ha.
Vinification: 100% of direct press for 48 hours. Immediate cooling (to 10° C) of the juice. Aging of three months on fines lees, with bâtonnage before bottling.
Le Page de Vignelaure White 2022 Organic
Roussanne Sauvignon Blanc Sémillon RolleBlend of Roussanne (85%) and Sauvignon blanc (15%). This is an aromatic white with intense flavors of white fruits and grapefruits. On the palate, the wine is well-balanced, concentrated and fresh.
Ageing potential: 5 years.
Food pairing: aperitive, grilled fish, carpaccio of scallop.
Hand harvest with sorting.
Vine age: 7 years.
Vineyard area: 55 hectares among which 3 hectares selected for the blend of Page of Vignelaure White.
Soil type: Limestone and clay mixed with gravel.
Yield: Average yield for the parcels selected for the production of Page White: 38 Hl/Ha.
Vinification: Each rape variety is harvested and vinified separetly, one part in stainless-steel tank and 10% in 400L oak barrels. Aging of three months on fines lees, with bâtonnage before bottling.
